This is an initial privacy summary for the CPAS Alumni Network starter package.
What this initial version stores
The portal stores account contact details, password hashes, profile information, institutional affiliation requests, verification decisions and basic security audit events.
Who can see your profile?
Only profiles that a member chooses to share and that have an approved institutional affiliation are shown in the member directory. Email addresses and mobile numbers are not displayed in the directory.
Institutional verification
Authorised administrators can view and decide verification requests for the institution or institutions assigned to them. Central administrators can manage the entire network.
Before public launch
CPAS should review and approve a full privacy notice, retention schedule, consent wording, incident response process and procedures for correcting or deleting personal data. Do not upload bulk student or staff records until access controls and data permissions have been reviewed.
